Market outlook
Stable Outlook 7/10
Prices appear supported by character popularity and alt-art appeal, but the card is old enough that most near-term movement is likely to be gradual rather than explosive.
Next months. Likely to hold current levels with modest fluctuations, especially tied to condition and grading premiums.
Long term. Over 1-3 years, gradual appreciation is plausible if Paramount War sealed supply continues to tighten and Garp remains a sought-after Marine character.
History
Monkey D. Garp is a legendary Marine vice admiral in One Piece, known as the 'Hero of the Marines' for his role in major conflicts involving Gol D. Roger and the Rocks era. He is also the grandfather of Monkey D. Luffy and a central figure in the series’ military history, valued both for his overwhelming physical power and his moral complexity.

Collector notes
Condition. Check for edge whitening, corner wear, surface scratches, print lines, centering, and foil scuffing on the alternate-art finish. English One Piece cards can also show light edge chipping from pack handling and binder wear.
Storage. Store in a penny sleeve and rigid top loader or semi-rigid holder, keep away from UV light and humidity, and avoid direct stacking. For high-value copies, use a team bag and archival storage.
Authenticity. Verify the card number OP02-115, correct English text, set branding, and consistent foiling on the alternate-art version. Counterfeits often show blurry text, poor color saturation, incorrect font spacing, weak texture/foil pattern, or off-size cuts.
