Market outlook
Stable Outlook 7/10
As a foundational first-set Secret Rare from an established TCG, the card maintains steady collector demand. Early set status provides inherent value preservation, though market has matured since 2022 launch.
Next months. Expect stable to modest appreciation over next 3-6 months. Graded copies in graded/graded 9-10 range likely to maintain premium pricing. Ungraded NM copies may experience slight price increases as set recognition solidifies.
Long term. Strong long-term outlook (1-3 years) as Romance Dawn establishes historical significance as inaugural set. Graded high-condition copies should appreciate steadily. Character popularity and first-set status provide enduring collector appeal. Expect 15-25% appreciation for graded/graded 10 copies if One Piece TCG maintains current growth trajectory.

Key condition factors include: centering consistency on all four sides, corner wear (particularly vulnerable on vintage TCG cards), edge wear along card borders, surface scratches on the front holographic/full art portion, back print quality and clarity. Common flaws include light play wear on corners and edges, slight holographic scratching from handling, and centering issues common to early One Piece TCG production runs.
Storage. Store in archival-quality sleeves (not PVC), use top-loaders or rigid card holders for protection, maintain temperature between 60-70°F, keep humidity levels between 40-50%, store away from direct sunlight to prevent fading, consider graded slabs (graded/graded) for high-value copies to protect and authenticate, use acid-free storage boxes
Authenticity. Check for consistent print quality matching known counterfeits, verify holographic/full art properties match authentic examples, examine card stock thickness and texture, verify accurate color reproduction in artwork and borders, confirm proper registration and alignment of all printed elements, purchase from reputable sources and consider professional grading for valuable copies
