Persian

Persian is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I (Pokémon Red and Blue), evolving from Meowth at level 28. Known as the Classy Cat Pokémon, it is characterized by its gem on its forehead, superior speed, and haughty demeanor, often associated with wealth and Team Rocket's Meowth in the anime.

First printed in the Scarlet & Violet: Shrouded Fable set, released August 2, 2024, in English.

Condition. Check centering on borders, corners for whitening or dings, edges for scratches, surface for print lines or scratches on the glossy illustration; common flaws include roller marks and surface scratches on Illustration Rares.

Storage. Use semi-rigid or top-loader holders with sleeves, store in cool, dry place away from sunlight to prevent fading; avoid stacking without dividers.

Authenticity. Verify holographic pattern matches official (consistent shimmer), check font kerning and card stock thickness; use TCGPlayer or eBay verified sellers, cross-reference with PokeDATA for pop reports; fakes often have off-color gems or blurry artwork.
