History
Cinderella is the classic Disney princess from the 1950 animated film 'Cinderella,' itself adapted from the well-known fairy tale tradition. In Disney Lorcana, 'Stouthearted' is a Steel ink Floodborn version of Cinderella, portraying her as a more battle-ready hero; the card’s name and abilities reflect Lorcana’s alternate-universe 'Floodborn' concept rather than a new canon Disney storyline. The non-promo version first appeared in the Rise of the Floodborn set as a Super Rare, and the promo versions reuse that gameplay profile with alternate presentation.[7][16][17]
The first promo printing of Cinderella - Stouthearted 3/C1 was released on May 25, 2024 as a Disney Lorcana Challenge prize/event promo, with the card distributed in foil and non-foil forms at Challenge regional events.[1][7] The card was later also issued as a D23 Expo 2024 Collector's Set promo on August 9, 2024 under a different promo number (02/D23), making 3/C1 the original Challenge promo release rather than the first-ever appearance of the card concept.[7][16][17]

Collector notes
Condition. Check for edge wear, whitening on corners, surface scratches on the full-art foil, and any print lines or scuffing on dark/solid areas. Foil promos are especially prone to roller marks, light warping, and tiny manufacturing dents. For non-foil copies, inspect for handling wear, slight corner fray, and pressure marks from event packaging.[1][9][17]
Storage. Store in a penny sleeve plus a rigid top loader or semi-rigid holder, and keep the card away from humidity and direct light. Foil copies benefit from a perfect-fit sleeve or inner sleeve to reduce surface abrasion, plus an outer sleeve if graded or archived long term. Use acid-free storage and avoid tight binder rings or overly compressed stacks.
Authenticity. Authenticate by comparing the exact card number, set marking, and promo layout against known Challenge and D23 promo versions. Genuine cards should match the official artwork, card text, and numbering; counterfeit or proxy versions often show incorrect numbering, off-color foil patterns, blurry text, or inconsistent borderless cropping. Because the card exists in both foil and non-foil versions, confirm whether the copy should be glossy/foil or matte/non-foil for the claimed promo distribution.[1][17][18]
